Using tricks from various lathe-turned Professor Hoffmann puzzles from the book, Puzzles Old & New, John has made this beautiful puzzle with three secret compartments. The photographs show the puzzle in various stages of disassembly. Note that the stem must be removed and used as a tool to lock a piece in place for one of these steps.
