A variation of the Triumph puzzle where two pairs of the Triumph's six pieces are "fused". Made from one wood to make the puzzle more difficult.
The puzzle in the 1st first photograph was made by Stewart Coffin and is in the Star-Of-David assembly. The puzzle in the 2nd photograph was made by Mark McCallum and is in the Column assembly. The 3rd puzzle was made by Tom Lensch and is in the Star-Of-David assembly. The 4th puzzle was made by Tom Lensch and is in the Column assembly. The bottom photograph shows how the two pairs of simple pieces are "fused". Fusion Confusion is one of Stewart's favorite puzzles and rightfully so. It is amazing how confusing it is to assemble one of the symmetrical versions. Stewart made 36 from 1990 to 1997. Number 15A in his numbering system.
