The objective is to open the box and remove the ring on the shaft which runs through the box and turns freely.
By holding the knobs and both ends and unscrewing, one of them will come off allowing the cap from one to come out, releasing the ring. The bottom photograph shows an original puzzle in the opened position. | ||
