A triacontrahedron can be enclosed with an arrangement of thirty sticks with a 36-108-36° triangular cross-section. If these sticks are split longitudinally into two identical halves and then joined in groups of five (one of each color) to make twelve symmetrical puzzle pieces the Jupiter results. It has six sliding axes and the final step in assembly is the mating of two identical halves.
The 4th photograph shows the shape of the pieces and where they are located in the puzzle. Stewart made 400 from 1971 to 1977. Number 7 in his numbering system.
