Vanish
Vanish puzzles are geometric paradoxes that involve the dissection and rearranging of a drawing or figure. One of the most famous was Sam Loyd's Get Off the Earth in 1896. A disk (the world) is held in place at the center in such a way that it can turn. Thirteen figures of Chinamen could be counted with half of their bodies on the world and the other on the card to which it was fastened. When you turned the world slightly, one of the Chinamen would vanish. Another example is The Vanishing Leprechaun, a puzzle which can still been found today. The puzzle with the strange name is a variation by Robin Debrueil.
